  My husband has been at this rehab center for just over a year. Yes we have had ups and downs but he has made many wonderful friends with both staff and residents. He feels very comfortable there. I visit him almost everyday and the staff treats me kindly also. Sometimes I take our little dog in to see her daddy and everyone always welcomes her. The only complaint I have is sometimes they are short staffed and the rooms in the long term care unit where my husband is are very tiny and have to be shared. It is very hard for me to move my husbands wheelchair around in his room. I have looked at other long term care homes and it goes hand and hand with small rooms and lack of aides. I would give Port Charlotte Rehab a 4 out of 5.

  My wife is finishing up with out patient therapy for her back. Her daily activity level has greatly improved since the beginning of therapy. The staff has been wonderful. The facility is top notch. (Free Coffee :-)
